Early Years Trainer


FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK.   We’re representing one of the largest providers in our industry, providing training across all four nations in the UK. Our client are Ofsted grade 2 and have 5,000+ active apprentices on program have been working in training for 30 years.   We’re on the lookout for an Early Years Trainer to work with a caseload of apprentices who are conducting their Level 2 & 3 EY apprenticeships. If you’re an experienced early years specialist looking to further your career and go into a training role. This could be the perfect fit for you!   You must have your own level 3+ qualification in childcare and be open to training the next generation of early years experts. My client will then put you through an assessing qualification (CAVA) and provide all the necessary training to do the role (qualified trainers/assessors are also encouraged to apply).   Unqualified candidates might work in any of the following roles: - Nursery Manager - Assistant Manager - Playroom Leader   The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering one to one and group sessions, with a mixture between remote working and face to visits. Face to face visits will be with candidates across Manchester and the surrounding area. Candidates must have their own vehicle and be happy to travel when required.   Key Tasks and Responsibilities: To carry out effective initial assessment with all potential learners, ensuring they enrol on the appropriate programme, are eligible and that any additional support needs are identified To conduct the sign-up meeting, completing all appropriate paperwork accurately. To conduct regular reviews of progress with learners and line managers. To plan and deliver appropriate training and coaching to learners. To assess evidence and work submitted by learners and provide feedback. To provide regular updates on learner progress. To ensure learners’ outcomes are achieved on time. To maintain accurate and timely records of assessment, feedback, progress and reviews. Support with Functional Skills delivery – English & Maths level 2. To attend and take part in regular standardisation of practice and maintain currency of own expertise via regular CPD. Candidate Requirements: Prior experience/ competence in Early Years Apprenticeship delivery (Level 2,3 or 5 Early Years Educator) – DESIRABLE Must hold a Early Years Qualification at Level 3 & above Qualifications- assessor OR teaching qualifications: A1, CAVA, TAQA, AET, PTTLS etc. DESIRABLE • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, management information systems (CRM, LMS) What you get? – Salary £26,855 - £27,396 + additional benefits – including 25 days leave + bank, pension scheme, mileage cover or, company car scheme.
